Tango-intensives and -holidays are a perfect blend of vacation and tango. Apart from the daily lessons, centre stage goes to enjoying the wonderful ambience of the surroundings, the relaxed socialising within the group and the evening´s dance after a fine meal. Le Château d’Archambault
This château in Burgundy offers charming rooms, a spacious park and a private swimming pool. A celebration of French lifestyle enriched by daily lessons and sweet minilongas. There is plenty of time to relax or explore the serene landscape with its many vineyards and picturesque villages. Noyers – the adjacent town – is one of the most picturesque places that we’ve ever seen.
We offer full board with a healthy and varied cuisine. Be prepared for wonderful dishes after Ottolenghi prepared by a young man of excellent taste! One day in the week will be free to explore the surroundings. On this day, only Breakfast is served.
Tango Holiday for experienced dancers / August 1-8, 2024
Detlef and Melina will be giving 20 hours of classes and practicas for dancers with a good technical and musical basis. The content of the classes will be decided upon together with the group!

Ladies Retreat / September 7-14, 2024
This holiday is for women exclusively. We will focus on our embrace, musicality and technique together with other ladies. Extensive bodywork units, single exercises and work with a partner (change of roles) will lead to more relaxation, stability and wellbeing in our dance!
Melina will be teaching together with Varvara Kountouzi (USA/Greece) who has completed our Tango Teacher Training in 2017. Their combined experiences are not limited to tango, but encompass also Yoga, Ballet, Spiral Dynamics, Dance Therapy and much more. Be prepared for a full immersion!

Option 1: Double Room with private bath: 1240€ (single usage: 1600€)

Option 3: Single Room with shared bath: 1450€ *
* The Chateau has a limited number of rooms. We can therefore not offer only very few single rooms or else the total of participants will not add up.
Important note: On the site of the Château, you’ll find descriptions of rooms. They are however NOT UP TO DATE. Some of the rooms now have bigger beds and others can be equipped with extra single beds. So, please only choose a category above and let us distribute the rooms according to your needs. Also please tell us, if you prefer a double bed or two single beds. We will try to find the best solution for everyone!
