The Tango Teacher Training is designed for dancers who wish to teach or develop their dance, as well as for experienced teachers who want to deepen and refine their pedagogical approach.
Based on over 25 years of teaching experience, it offers a structured and coherent framework for understanding and transmitting Argentine tango as a social and musical practice.

What this programme offers
The programme focuses on the underlying principles of tango rather than on sequences.
Participants develop:
- a clear understanding of structure and movement
- tools for teaching improvisation and connection
- a refined relationship to tango music
- pedagogical clarity and precision
- the ability to analyse and communicate movement and music
The aim is not to reproduce a style, but to develop the capacity to teach tango in a coherent and adaptable way.
Teaching approach
Our teaching is based on concepts that enable improvisation, musicality and communication within the couple.
We work consistently with both roles, allowing participants to understand tango as a dialogue rather than a fixed system.
The programme combines practical work, collaborative observation and analysis, creating a direct link between dancing and teaching.
Structure of the programme
The training consists of:
-
three intensive in-person modules (each 34 hours)
-
a series of online classes accompanying the process (in total 24 hours)
-
continuous development between modules
This structure allows for sustained learning, integration and reflection over time
Who is this programme for?
• Dancers who wish to start teaching
• Teachers who want to deepen their pedagogical approach
• Dancers interested in structure and analysis and developing their dance
Participants should have a solid foundation in tango and a strong interest in developing their understanding of the dance.
Practical information
The TTT takes place in Saarbrücken, Germany, and is designed for a limited group of participants.
Depending on the location, we work with 12–18 dancers, allowing for focused individual guidance as well as collaborative group work. You do not need a partner to attend the programme.
Dates, conditions and further details for the programme 2027 will soon be available.
More Context
Additional formats, like Bootcamps and annual meetings for teachers, complete your long-term pedagogical development and the refinement of your dance.
