In addition to our regular classes, we organise boocamps – intensive seminars covering a specific topic – in our hometown of Saarbrücken. As we teach in multiple languages, these formats are also open to international participants.
Neben unseren regelmäßigen Kursen organisieren wir Bootcamps – intensive Seminare zu speziellen Themen – in unserer Heimatstadt Saarbrücken. Da wir mehrsprachig unterrichten, stehen diese Formate auch internationalen TeilnehmerInnen offen. Aber, keine Sorge: Deutsch ist immer eine der Unterrichtssprachen.
Bootcamps
In these 12-hour tango seminars, we focus on the central aspects of our dance: comfortable movement, clear communication, musical interpretation, and navigating a good ronda. These are not beginner seminars, but formats designed for dancers with a solid foundation.
Requirements:
The basics of the parallel system, the crossed system, crosses, music phrasing, the ability to change speed, and simple rhythmic variations.

September, 25–27: Applied Musicality in Tango
October, 30 – November, 1: Applied Musicality in Milonga and Vals
Dancing musical often means that we cut down on complexity. Both bootcamps therefore aim to expand our active repertoire in a way that allows us to adapt it to the music. We will also analyse select songs in detail.
Method:
We work interactively and with role-changes to activate both partners in the dance. We also change partners regularly, which means that double rolers may register individually. Couples may stay together for longer periods if they wish, although we still recommend switching roles and partners at least part of the time to ensure the best learning outcome.
We teach bilingually — in German and English (or French, or Italian depending on the participants).
